Biographical Information
| I received my
BA in Sociology and German from the University
of Notre Dame. After that, I spent a year as a Fulbright Teaching Assistant in
Innsbruck, Austria.
I earned my MA in Sociology from the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH) in 1998 and my Ph.D. in
Sociology from UNC-CH in 2001.
Since 2001, I have been working in the Department of Sociology at the University of Georgia . I served as a Franklin Teaching Fellow until 2003 and am now an assistant professer. I teach courses in stratification and research methods and do research on mismatches between preferred and actual work hours, work-family issues, employee involvement, and non-standard work arrangements. |
